I'm not just disappointed, I'm very disappointed with LG in terms of how they are able to pledge this to actually sell it to customers. I know they found out about the US consumer base about 40 years ago and were selling products that were mostly inferior when they improved them. But its 49-inch monitor is disappointing. First, when you connect it to the USB-C cable for video - which shouldn't matter, but in my case it was with a Mac - warnings were displayed for the effects of using the included USB-C cable devices despite the fact that I saw a good quality video with a resolution of 5120 x 1440 and 60 Hz. Then from time to time the monitor randomly turned off for 2-3 seconds, then the picture appeared again. But what irritated me most was the constant crackling that was characteristic of tube TVs of yesteryear! It's a shame that LG actually sells this kind of junk to consumers these days. I sent the device back and bought another brand instead. NOTE TO THE SMART ONE: If you want a 49-inch monitor with this kind of curvature and specs, save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere (other than LG).
