I was wondering why I would pay so much for a spring clip when they are usually 'thrown away' almost all the time. I risked it and was happy. As a toolmaker, I have hundreds of clamps, many modified for a specific task, and dozens that I have made with inner tubes, springs, etc. These clamps are chunky where you need them and soft on your hands. The spring force is almost 150% of the total capacity of the competition. The nylon itself also has a lot of bounce so I don't expect it to rip like some of the brittle generics. I was really impressed and will buy more. You will not be disappointed.
