I bought two of these to blow warm air down at the top of the stairs. Works perfectly. Installation was a bit tricky as the components are not attached to the fan. Just thrown out. I used a few tiny mounting screws to attach the two components to the case and then used thin string to tie them all together. Also note that there are three wires. Only one black and one white is used for the power connection. I just stuck another white wire (no bare end) under the other components. I'm not sure if that's the goal, but don't associate it with anything. Also, there's no traditional wire to hold the light in place during installation, so I tied it there with a piece of string while I worked.
