Didn't realize this was designed to be screwed in. However, we simply attached it between the box spring and mattress for our 2 year old double bed. He loves it and actually slept next to it last night. it doesn't budge or move, I LOVE IT! And the design is clear and difficult to see from one side, the side that should go to the bed. But the outer part has a clear and bright photo as advertised. Assembly took less than 10 minutes, and it took 20 minutes to install and prepare for us. I highly recommend this one! It doesn't cost A WHOLE BUNCH, but it works great and is cute.
