Review on ASUS Prime X570-Pro AM4 Zen 3 Ryzen 5000 & 3rd Gen πŸ–₯️ Ryzen ATX Motherboard: PCIe Gen4, Dual M.2 HDMI, SATA 6GB/s, USB 3.2 Gen 2-Optimized by Agung Baraya ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Average purchase, there are some things to complain about.

If you do not need an M.2 SSD with PCI-E 4.0, then take the board on the old chipset. No other benefit (KMK) X570 carries. Has pros: 1) Good appearance. 2) Quality performance. 3) The fan on the chipset is not adjustable at the time of writing, it always runs ~2022 RPM. Nevertheless, it is not audible behind the CBO and the video card in idle time. Under load, even more so. So those who are afraid of fans can ignore its presence. 4) If incorrect settings are set in the BIOS (relevant for overclocking the RAM), the system goes into 3 reboots, after which it sends it to the BIOS without resetting the settings so that you do not have to load the profile or manually enter all the settings again. For me, this is a new feature. However, it does not always work - twice I had to shorten the CMOS reset manually. Different cons: 0) PROBLEMS WITH MEMORY TRAINING! (see below) From little things: 1) Absence of POST codes on the motherboard. Only 4 LEDs are available. 2) A rather inconvenient location of the jumper for resetting CMOS (BIOS). 3) No Spread Spectrum setting. The motherboard gives out a bus of 99.8, it is impossible to change this figure. 09/13: ated BIOS to version 1201 (1.0.0.3ABBA AGESA) - boot speed increased, now the system boots very fast. "Cold starts" appeared again, and very ridiculous ones - you go into the BIOS, turn off the display of the ASUS logo at boot - the motherboard goes into 3 reboots and a reset. Because of the logo. You press F10, save all the same settings - it loads. This love for resetting CMOS on the first sneeze is a little annoying, especially if you overclock memory with secondary timings. Downgraded to 4 stars. 092022: ated BIOS to version 1405 (1.0.0.4 AGESA) - PC stopped booting with memory frequency above 3200MHz. On beta version 1403 everything worked fine on 3666CL16 1.43V, now it doesn't even work on 3400 with auto timings at 1.45V. At the same time, setting the same memory parameters through Ryzen Master works until the PC is turned off. I lower the rating to 3 stars, such a BIOS should not even have reached beta, and this is a full-fledged release. The problem is observed on all motherboards, but not for all users.
