Small compact double acting ratchet system works

This little winch gets the job done. . I just won't risk it for a $25 winch. I use it to raise and lower a heavy makeshift ladder. The double action ratchet works well. This prevents weight loss when you lose long grip, which is another unexpected surprise. Be sure to use the correct mounting studs or wood screws. The thing is very small for what it does. You can hold it in one hand! You have 3 positions to choose from.1. Ratchet mechanism Pull2. Ratchet Release3. Free rotation (in both directions) Note: You can change the position at any time.
