I hate this camera. 1) The lock ring doesn't work properly and very often no picture is taken when you press it all the way down, so maybe my model is defective or it's everyone's problem, I don't know. It forces me to use the touchscreen instead of the lock ring to take pictures, but in this mode the damn thing just snaps pictures whenever it wants. I had him sitting on the table and he just started taking pictures. 2) It's small, so just holding it is problematic, and often you'll switch modes or zoom all the way in and won't notice until you take the next photo because you accidentally touched the screen or zoom ring. 3) I need Wi-Fi to easily send photos to my computer. I take about 200 photos a day and have to upload them in small batches throughout the day. The problem is that when you tell the camera to send photos, it doesn't do it on the first try. It always takes 2 or more tries and sometimes you have to turn the camera off and on again for it to work. It sucks. My old Samsung worked great in this regard, I probably should have bought another one. 4) Battery capacity sucks! This camera needs to be charged every day. It really sucks power. If you used it in the field you would be really disappointed. Look elsewhere for a cheap camera as this is useless.
