I bought this coat in medium size and it fits me perfectly! One reason I chose it medium is so my dog can wear a sweater under a raincoat when it gets cold. My dog's measurements: back length 15, chest 19, neck 11. He is a Miniature Schnauzer, thin build. The small ones could look better/narrower, but the small sizes are either too short for his legs or don't cover his back. He used to hate running in the rain, but now he loves them! This cape covers it completely and the hood goes behind the ears. It's lightweight and has an adjustable strap to make it tighter or looser. My problem with other rain hoods is that the hoodies don't cover my dog's head, but this one does! It's a little big, but that's easily remedied by folding the front. It is not warm and rather thin. It is ideal for nice warm weather.
