I need a DVD player for my 95 year old mother and of course she needs a big screen. I found this one, big screen, good specs, decided to give it a try. Out of the box this is a good DVD player. The good size controls how my mother sees DVDs playing flawlessly, including homemade ones. I put in a flash drive with a movie, pressed the device button, and the movie immediately popped up, and a very nice picture too. Good sound, it has decent speakers and it sounds even better with some good phones that also sound very good. Not too heavy, my mom can pick it up with no effort and use it often. DVD menu is very easy to manipulate and all controls work very well with DVD and USB movies. I just love how the screen can move where it's very easy to find the best position for the screen wherever I sit. I've never seen this before. It's hard to show on some photos, I made a short video. There are no cons, everything works fine with it, and not only with my purchase, but also with my mother.
