Nice device - big screen - crap, low volume through headphones and headphones

Very good item. More than expected. Was a replacement for a broken Sony 10" DVD. I like the picture quality. I haven't even removed the self-adhesive plastic screen protector! I understand the noise 'may' be a health issue. Perhaps in an attempt to To minimize hearing loss or damage, is the volume on purpose low? I don't know if that's a fact. I bought this for my father who lives in a nursing home and shares a room. So he had to do something, he has vision and coordination problems, so he can't use the touchscreen, so buying an iPad or something is a direct recipe for disaster. Reliable DVD player, never skips, really good picture and also plays videos from my flash drive.

I need a DVD player for my 95 year old mother and of course she needs a big screen. I found this one, big screen, good specs, decided to give it a try. Out of the box this is a good DVD player. The good size controls how my mother sees DVDs playing flawlessly, including homemade ones. I put in a flash drive with a movie, pressed the device button, and the movie immediately popped up, and a very nice picture too.
