I bought this for my wife at her request, curious I decided to try it myself one day to see what all the hype was about. After trying it for "a day" you were used twice a day continuously for about two weeks. I am very satisfied with this product! Previous charcoal whitening products had a grainy texture (almost like fine grains of sand in the mouth), but I didn't notice the texture. Charcoal is so fine that it cannot be felt at all, and when it is, it is barely perceptible. I personally use this product: After squeezing a strip of toothpaste onto a toothbrush (which is motorized), I then dip the toothpaste-filled brush head into the activated charcoal until the toothpaste strip is completely covered with a thin layer of charcoal. Then I brush as usual for about two minutes. During those two weeks, I noticed that my teeth got at least two or even three shades whiter. I also suffer from tooth sensitivity and use a special toothpaste for that. I didn't notice my toothpaste becoming less effective - I was very happy about that - it was an added bonus! While I find the product to be a bit pricey for the amount of charcoal contained in the container, I can say it gives great results and is worth every penny!
