I got this for embroidery, and it's perfect for that! The extra light is awesome, the level of magnification is exactly what I needed for more delicate work, and the whole thing isn't too obnoxiously huge.I also use it for lots of other stuff, though. Kid has a splinter? Extract it under the lighted view of this magnifying glass! Putting on nail polish strips?
