Indicator lights are on the underside of the tester. It's not very easy to read. :( All vehicle mounted 7 pin trailer light sockets are fitted with a spring loaded cover at the top with a small clip to keep the trailer plug from falling out. So the only way to connect this tester is as they say, lying on your back to read the indicator lights is just plain wrong.It should be done in another country that doesn't use this type of system!I should have given that 2 stars (because it actually worked) but I guess I feel generously.
