Matches the old tool almost perfectly and works great. Nice and bright - at least as bright as the old one, maybe more. And I expect much less service. Every few years I had to change the lightbulb in the old lamp. Installation was very easy, although the screw holes didn't match the old bracket. That was expected, so no big deal. Drilling the new one was fairly easy, although you may have to figure out how to bypass one of the old holes depending on how your old bracket was attached. You can also dismantle the old bracket to make sure you can access the wiring. Ours was tucked inside and it took us some effort to get the connections out of the wall. Not a problem if you have inside access, but it's worth checking to make sure you're accessing it from one side or the other.
