Review on ZIZO Bolt Series Galaxy S20 Case: Gun Metal Gray with Kickstand Holster & Lanyard by Paul Dahl

◇◇Purchased in March 2020 - before quarantine. As a result, my case didn't wear out like it would under normal conditions. ◇◇ Well, I've been working on this case for about 15 months with no problems, and last week the spring in the stand popped out. A part was broken so there was no way to return or fix it. I was just trying to pull out the kickstand to set up my phone for a Zoom call. Nothing out of the ordinary, no excessive effort or manipulation, so this took a few stars off my overall durability rating. I worry that this would have happened sooner if it had been subject to 'normal' wear and tear since purchase. As far as I can tell, the case PROTECTED my phone. I've only taken the case off [to disinfect] a couple of times. When I got this phone I gave my old S-9 to my son and also bought him a Bolt case. His suitcase didn't last as long as mine, but it held up pretty well considering he was with the typical teenager who doesn't use their phone to talk or text, but to watch videos. So I'm guessing why it took me so long to break. I was disappointed when I received the case as I thought it came with a screen protector but it didn't come with it. However, despite many falls and bumps, the glass is intact with no cracks. I was careful not to scratch the screen. I have no plans to change this case, but that's only because it's almost time to trade it in for a new phone. [I'd love to review this leasing system that all cell phone operators pretty much force us into if you can't afford to buy a quality handset, but I digress.]. If ZIZO places an order for my next phone, I will certainly give it serious consideration.
