I just moved into a new house and decided to install my own invisible pet fence again. I bought a spool of this wire when I had a problem with the very small #22 or so wire that came with the fence. It worked well and also allowed me to move into my house. A few years later we moved to a new house and I reverted to this heavier conductor behind the fence. It was easy to set up and I particularly appreciated the thicker gauge and weatherproof pavement for my driveway crossing where I was cutting a groove in concrete and needed extra strength at the transition point from ground to concrete grove.
