Nice trailer! INSTRUCTIONS FOR NEW WALL CONTROLLER included!

Nice fan! Not an easy install due to size and weight, but worth the effort. So far it's quiet here and the breeze in my living room feels great! Since my fan seemed to have an odd start-up sequence, I contacted the manufacturer and was told that they had revised the wall controller instructions from the installation guide. The power switch is on all the time to ensure safe operation/long life of the motor/DC controller. WALL CONTROL OPERATION: Revised instructions from Kichler Tech Service There are four buttons on the wall control, the top REV/FORWARD button, the LIGHT button, the FAN button (for on/off and speed control), then you have the bottom POWER button . Permanent position ON. DC (direct current) fans require direct current, which means they need constant power, and turning the fan on and off with the POWER button affects the programming or receiver, also known as motor control. To turn the fan on/off, short press the third button (fan button) on the wall controller. To turn the light on or off, briefly press the light button on the wall remote control. You can also dim the lighting kit if you have an LED lighting kit or an incandescent lighting kit. To change the direction of the fan, simply press and release the top button while the fan is spinning. This is the REV/FOR button. The fan will slow down, then stop and reverse direction. See instructions below for programming the DC fan. This fan comes with a receiver that is installed in the motor housing and is replaceable. DC fans don't have DIP switches but instead look for a signal when going to flan programming. Remote control via wall/additional control. A NOTICE. If you have a lighting kit on your fan please read the following: If you have an LED or Incandescent lighting kit also ensure the FIFTH microswitch on the back of your remote control is set to D for dimming. If you don't have a lighting set, make sure it's also set to "D". If you have a fluorescent lighting kit, make sure the FIFTH DIP switch on the back is fluorescent. To program or reprogram a DC fan using WALL CONTROL, do the following: Make sure the LEDs are off in the same room as the fan or within 30 feet (9.1 m). RF interference unless permitted by the FCC. If your fan comes with a lighting kit and is either incandescent or LED powered, ensure the fifth microswitch on the back of the remote control (remove back cover to access) is set to "D" for dimming. If it's fluorescent, be sure to set it to "X" for fluorescent. First turn off the wall remote control, this is the bottom button. Next, turn off the power at the circuit breaker and wait about 10-15 seconds for it to reset. After you turn the power switch back on, you have 60 seconds to do the following: Press the POWER button on the wall controller to turn on the fan. Then hold the top button, the REV/FOR button and watch the fan. The light set on the fan should blink twice, this should happen within 3-4 seconds, and then release. NOTE: If you don't have a light kit on your fan, the fan will start spinning. Once it starts spinning, release the REV/FOR button. (This should happen quickly, within 3-4 seconds). If you have a light kit: After the light kit blinks twice (the fan starts spinning), it spins in one direction for 90 seconds and then stops completely. and begin rotating in the opposite direction for another 90 seconds. Once programmed, it turns itself off. You can now use the wall controller or the remote control to control the fan. To program or reprogram a DC fan using the REMOTE CONTROL, do the following: Make sure the LED in the same room as the fan is off. or within 30 minutes if so, please turn off as some LEDs may cause RF interference if not approved by the FCC. Remote control (remove back cover to access), set to "D" for dimming. If it's fluorescent, be sure to set it to "X" for fluorescent. First turn off the power at the switch box and wait about 10-15 seconds. (If you have a wall switch, don't just turn it off with the wall switch). After turning the power back on using the switch, you have 60 seconds to do the following: Pick up the remote control, stand as close to the fan as possible, and hold the POWER button down until the fan shuts off rotate starts (this should be within 3-3 seconds). 4 seconds). Once the fan starts spinning, release the POWER button. OR: If you have a light kit on the fan, after holding the POWER button, the light kit will flash twice within 3-4 seconds and then be released. (Same instructions as above). The fan should spin in one direction for about 90 seconds, then stop completely (do not touch any buttons on the remote), then spin in the OPPOSITE direction for another 90 seconds (self-calibration/programming). The fan should then turn off. Now you can use your remote control.******************************************* ************************************************* ****** ***** ************ **************************** ****** *** REMINDER: This is a DC motor (DC fan) and requires constant current/constant power, therefore when used with a remote control a switch should not be used and if so it should always be in the position be left ON. Otherwise the quality of the receiver/motor control and fan programming may be affected. IMPORTANT! If you need to replace the engine controller/receiver, be sure the installer turns off power at the SWITCH and not just the wall switch, otherwise the built-in sensor in the engine controller/receiver will fail. .
