UPDATE: I got the non-Stanley brand I was expecting for comparison. The unbranded one is 10ft and my Stanley is 3ft. I am attaching a photo so you can see the size difference. Both fit perfectly on a keychain, although the 3-inch is definitely smaller. So the question is, do you want 3 feet or 10 feet? 3' weighs 0.8 ounces, 10' weighs 1.8 ounces if weight is important to you. I am very happy with this purchase. The product looks high quality, metal, the chain links and keychain loop are durable. It's nice and small (see photos compared to a penny quarter). The packaging is beautiful and would make a great gift for absolutely anyone. The locking feature works like a champ. Everything you get from a standard size Stanley tape measure is in this mini version I'm 51 and hate that my 12 inch tape is bulky in my purse. 3 inch cassette is mostly enough for me. I am considering including this article in the Operation Christmas Child boxes. It seems so perfect I'm just waiting to get another brand in 10ft to compare and will update this review once I get my hands on another.
