I bought one of these for my son's iPhone XR in the winter. He's 10 years old and loves watching videos, which was great because he can charge in the dock without having to tether his phone to a lightning cable. For some reason, lightning rods tend to disappear around my house, so I asked him how he liked it after 6 months. He said he loves it and it charges faster than a regular charger so I bought the same one I got a few weeks ago. I have an iPhone 11 Max Pro and it charges pretty quickly with this charger. We both have phone cases on our phones and I would definitely recommend these chargers if you have an XR or 11 Max Pro. We have not tested on other phones. This is a fairly simple setup and comes with a stand and power adapter that plugs into an outlet or power strip. The power supply connects with a mini USB cable and NOT with a lightning cable. So if that power supply ever fails, you should be able to purchase or use a 3.6-6v 2-amp adapter. If you ever need to simply replace the cable from the adapter to the stand, use the USB to mini USB cable to charge Android phones, cameras, etc.
