At first I was skeptical 1. because it is not a brand name and 2. the price is cheap. Much to my surprise, this little device was exactly what I was looking for to take with me on a hike! It is very light and can use AAA or AA batteries even though it says AA batteries. The sensitivity of this radio is amazing! AM stations are crystal clear during the day! The sound quality of this device is pretty good, with a powerful audio amplifier. It comes with headphones. The only drawback of this device is the external telescopic antenna. It would be easy to break this antenna and the device isn't designed for rough handling, but normal wear and tear is fine. The bright yellow display with auto shut off, inclement weather alert and wake up call is another feature I liked about this radio. If you're looking for that kind of all-purpose radio, you can't go wrong with this one!
