A few complaints but still good thermals

Have these as a base layer under my uniform in the winter months. like 20 degrees. They still work reasonably well on cold days, but when it's windy you'll find that there's little room for improvement. Presumably they will work in the summer and keep you cool, but I have yet to test them on hot days. My only comments, if concerned or dissatisfied, are: 1) The leg length is quite long. I ordered medium and I can stretch the bottoms of my legs over my feet almost to my toes. I'm 5'9", 175 pounds, athletic build with a 32" waist. The leg length on them could easily fit someone around 6ft 4in but that would be a pretty skinny tall guy. I just gather them around my ankles and it doesn't seem to affect the fit of my socks or duty boots, so it's not a big deal. 2) The waist belt is straight elastic. With today's dominance of "comfortable soft" waistbands used by most major manufacturers, I'm not sure why this old style of elastic was used. It's only slightly annoying after wearing the uniform trousers and duty belt all day, but it's noticeable 3) There is a "D" logo on the right thigh, which is made of a strange rubber material, it's almost sticky. He didn't pick up any fluff or anything, it's just weird. 4) No pee hole. Seriously, if you're wearing a uniform, belt, vest, and duty belt, you literally and figuratively don't have a hole in your underwear! Manageable, but oh well! 5) Finally, the seams are a bit thicker. It might prove good for durability, but it shows through my uniform pants when I'm seated. Who cares, right? I care, that's who! But I do not care. Generally good thermals. I'll probably buy a few more pairs. Especially when they can add a pee hole
