Review on πŸ”— Adjustable Galvanized Connector for Simpson LSCZ by Patrick Reid

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If you're like me you need a 90 degree adapter or a small gap impact wrench

Making a good product is so much easier. If you mount it on the wall, there is limited space to nail/screw the rails to the connectors. I used approved construction screws and a high impact square screw adapter for this as the spacing between them was close. When it's attached to the wall there isn't much room under the stringers - I don't see how you can use nails - how are you going to swing a hammer or use a nail gun? I'm not an expert, so maybe people with more experience know something I don't. I'd say you definitely need structural bolts and a right angle adapter or some sort of impact tool that doesn't require too much clearance. I suppose if you connect to the deck (rather than the wall) you can stand below deck.
