This Tri-Blend Protein from Max Effort tastes great. At least chocolate peanut butter! Okay, not as good as Reese's Real Peanut Butter, but still pretty damn good. I can't comment on how it tastes in water because I always mix my protein powders with almond milk. Almond milk burns! Shake an 8-ounce scoop for about 15-20 seconds and it's a smooth ride to heaven. No lumps, no clumps, no sand. Low in calories, carbohydrates, fat, sodium and sugar. Moderately high cholesterol. I love that it's a triple protein source, meaning you get 3 different protein digestion rates, from fast to slow (micellar casein). What I don't like is the price. At $1.50 a scoop, that's more than most people, myself included, can afford. I really hate spending over $35 on 30 servings of protein. But if you have money that needs to be withdrawn from your bank account, then I say go for it. Just know that there are cheaper options that are just as good in quality and taste!
