Review on H2Show Blue LED - Enhance your Aquarium with Submersible Spotlight by Ben Liu

H2Show Led Light Blue emits powerful, focused light. I originally bought this as a moonlight to illuminate a 2.5 gallon pico, but the light was too focused and created a bright spot. Since that didn't work, I decided to use it as a moonlight for my 20 gallon tank. I installed the lantern about 14 inches above my aquarium. The extra distance from my tank allowed the light to spread out and illuminate about half of my tank. Even at this distance the light is bright and brings out the fluorescence of my corals. I have a second flashlight to cover the other half of the tank. I docked it to a star because the light isn't very adjustable. Since it is a spotlight, the light comes directly from the device. If it is installed on the side of the tank, it will be difficult to direct the light to the center of the tank. Although you can get small angles, the light is more or less perpendicular to the base. On my 2.5 gallon I installed it in the top left corner of the tank and I could only reach the headlight in the bottom right corner of the tank. Overall I'm happy with the purchase, although I wish I was more aware of the limitations before receiving it.
