I've been using the GermGuardian AC5350B for about 3 months. My bedroom is stuffy and smells of household odors. I also have asthma and allergies. The first thing I noticed was that it is very quiet. If you are level 3 or lower, you can barely hear it. To be honest, at tier 1 I didn't even think it was included. Levels 4 and 5 are fairly quiet fan noise - no worse than a ceiling fan or box fan at low speeds. Since I've been using this, I've had significantly fewer asthma problems. I've also noticed that my room smells fresh and clean. I didn't pay much attention to the dust as I'm obsessed with it anyway due to my allergies. I've had it running 24/7 since I've had it and haven't had any issues. My room is about 12 x 15 and the size is ok. I have a friend who has a slightly cheaper version of this that she bought at Walmart. It also seems to work well, but much louder. I recommend this product to those. Hope that helps!
