These filters are very expensive, but the water tastes good and 1 filter lasts about 300 glasses of fresh water or 3-4 months. It would be nice if there was a way to track this in the picture. The filter will go bad if you drop the water level. So I have to put my pitcher next to the sink, so I have to pour a glass of tap water for every glass I pour. A little bit of pain The design could also be better. There is an inner cup that drains through a filter into a jug. If you're pouring a glass of water before it all drains, pour unfiltered water along with filtered water. Seems to be a design flaw. You need to put a neck on the inner cup to keep it from spilling. (Think kitchen appliances like lipped grease traps.) I worked on this, reminding myself to pour a glass of water first before refilling the inner pitcher. The design of the lid is also strange. It's convenient that you can lift the flip-top lid to pour more water into the filter compartment, but the lid's body is unreliable and sometimes slips off if you pour a glass of water too quickly. I would definitely buy this again. . I've found workarounds, but it looks like the design team will have to make some changes in the future.
