Plasma burns for approximately five seconds and then turns itself off. Because of the cap, it can't reach what you're trying to ignite. It didn't work for lighting herbs, and it wasn't possible to light candles with it either. If you're sensitive to noise, the high pitched sound it makes can be heard hundreds of feet away and is quite annoying. It's cute, but I want it to serve its primary purpose; illuminate things.
