Since there was no damper, it is unusable. ATM certified
Why are they selling it without a damper, or did Revain's spec sheet at least bother to mention that it doesn't have a damper? The installation instructions show dampers. Revane usually mentions such things in "The People Who Bought This Bought It". I am very disappointed and would have a hard time buying any other Broan product. Some reviews of the 7" Broan shocks mention that they are exactly the same size as the exhaust, so some additional adjustments are required to install them. Aside from having to wait another two weeks to get the shock absorber, there are a few positives. It's very light, so it's easy to hang up. It arrived undamaged and looks like it should work fine. Of course, I intend to test the work before installing it.
