Good product with bad instructions.

Overall this product is great. It looks good and works perfectly. The instructions sometimes seem vague and perhaps overly complicated. Also, I've now learned that you don't necessarily have to move the grip to use the locking mechanism. It is very likely that you can add a padlock to an existing handle. It took some time to figure out how to route the wiring so the jar could open without snagging and still be long enough. I was able to connect to the power tailgate very easily. , so all the wiring stays near the back of the truck, and as long as my power tailgate lock works, the RV body lock will work too.
