I make bracelets from recycled materials. I've had the best luck with stainless steel (or natural) jump rings. However, because of their color, I wanted to try using these jump rings. On the pop tab bracelet, I used five jump rings per knuckle. I've found two to four rings to fall off over the course of the day (clothes, jacket when stretching and straightening arms). This is for multiple bracelets (I made one for my nephew and he lost five rings in one day). The rings should snap (not perfectly closed despite my best efforts with the pliers). I suggest using them for something else that gets less traffic than the hand/wrist. The metal isn't super strong. I've found a few other blue aluminum jump rings that wear better, but the manufacturer only makes blue rings that are 6mm wide.
