I had a little trouble installing it but it turns out it was done that way on purpose. After installing this boot on the caliper, it is difficult to insert the caliper pin. However, if you use a good quality brake lube and move the caliper pin back and forth, it will eventually get into the caliper. (The rubber is very stiff.) You must grease the caliper before installing the boot, as pushing the pin through the stiff rubber will remove the grease.
