Does not fit 2002 Honda Accord

. Genuine rear caliper boots have a metal retaining ring over the boot, they do not. I couldn't find any real boots and just had to buy a new caliper.

Pros
  • . Hands-free operation
Cons
  • . Fits

2008 Honda Accord Caliper Bolt Boots

Used to replace cracked caliper bolt bushings on a 2008 Honda Accord. Fits perfectly. Don't forget to bleed out excess air/grease before folding/inserting the pins to keep the boots from swelling and fitting properly. Use a small screwdriver to securely insert the base of the boot into the caliper.

Pros
  • Decent Performance
Cons
  • Appearance

Fits my parts request

Carlson 16011 dust boots fit perfectly on the rear caliper guide pins on my 2007 V6 Accord MT coupe. Honda only sells the boots in pairs as part of an upgrade kit that costs $42 per caliper. One of my boots had a small hole that was leaking grease and the replacement fitted perfectly. The four shoes that came with it were enough to mount both rear calipers. Luckily none of the pins were corroded so I cleaned and re-greased all four with Sil-Glyde.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Nothing

Fits snug to start with

I had a little trouble fitting them but turns out they were made on purpose. After installing this boot on the caliper, it is difficult to insert the caliper pin. However, if you use a good quality brake lube and move the caliper pin back and forth, it will eventually get into the caliper. (The rubber is very stiff.) You must grease the caliper before installing the boot, as pushing the pin through the stiff rubber will remove the grease.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Skinny

May not fit but is just a variant

I'm giving this 3 stars as I couldn't find anything else. I bought them for the rear brake calipers on my 2009 Civic SI sedan. They were VERY tight. I couldn't even mount it on a caliper, so it just sits on the pin. I'm not sure how well they will work, I guess only time will tell. I would try contacting a Honda dealer to get a replacement instead. Even the front I would say YMMV. I also bought some for my Corvette but the picture shows NOTHING like the one on the car. I haven't installed them…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • No performance

Unlike OEM shoes. Not compatible with OEM Honda SZ3 calipers

Although many Honda/Acura models are listed on its compatibility chart, there is a significant difference between Carlson 16011 studded boots and genuine Honda OEM parts, causing Carlson 16011 gaiters not to fit to the caliper body. On the side that is in contact with the caliper body (as opposed to the side that is in contact with the slide pin), the OEM Honda boot has a raised flange inside the boot that mates with the negative groove on the caliper body . Therefore, the OEM boot is held on…

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • Not the best
