Review on 6-1/8-Inch HSS Jointer Knives for Ridgid JP0610 by POWERTEC - Set of 3 by Bryan Crayton

Received this today and installed it on my 0452 Grizzly. They're only a hair's breadth from factory knives, but they fit very well. So, like us, I cleaned the car thoroughly, installed new knives and double-checked that everything was kosher. The first test boards (Douglas fir) were perfect! So I was ready and excited to spark white oak and mahogany for a bespoke furniture project I had in mind. It was then that these cheap fakes showed their true colors. The initial excitement gradually gave way to disappointment and regret. These things are too boring to cut hardwood through a wet fart after a few hours. And I say 4/4 drain at minimal depth! Don't waste money.
