I moved and lost (lost?) my shaving mug and finally started looking for a new one. I'm pretty picky about things like this, so I wanted something that didn't look cheap, was stylish, and worked well. This shaving bar achieves it all. It's very heavy in hand (which is a good thing) and looks great against my sink. But good looks only count when they work, and this bowl is exceptional. The interior is perfectly textured to create great lather when the brush is twirled over it. The heavy material, similar to marble, keeps the heat perfectly. The result is a huge amount of hot foam both on the brush and in the bowl. The poor folks who spend money on jars/tubes of shaving cream just don't know what they're missing out on. Get this bowl, get some good shaving soap, pour some warm water in this thing and make some great hot lather. It's life changing.
