I ordered these for my daughter's wedding invitations. I'm a graphic designer and wanted something shimmery to go with the invitations I had done. I was a little worried because of the reviews stating that ink smears on these envelopes. I used a Manuscript calligraphy pen and had no smearing at all. I let the envelope sit for a minute or so after addressing to allow the ink to dry and they were fine. The color is really pretty, and the stock is a decent weight but not too heavy. I also used a wax seal on these with no problem.
- The A7 size is perfect for standard invitations
- May not protect contents as well as other envelope materials
