Although this fandelier is absolutely amazing and makes my kitchen, family room and main room look gorgeous, there are some downsides. But let's start with the pros first, as I said, the fandelier is great, it puts out loads of bright light that's perfect for my kitchen and the fan works wonders in those hotter months. I love how the crystals sparkle when exposed to natural light and was impressed that they sent me an extra crystal and pins for each of my fandeliers. The fan blades are invisible when not in use. Now let's move on to the list of cons: 1- The delivery took forever! I placed my order in early April and didn't receive my 3 fans until the end of June. When I contacted the seller for some sort of compensation; (because I was told my fans would be delivered within 3-5 weeks of dispatch) they declined the request and offered to cancel my order after I had already waited over 12 weeks. hanging crystals. 3- no dimmer, there are three lighting modes: white light, daylight and warm light. (They are all very bright) 4 - The part of the chandelier in my version should be bigger so that it looks like a real chandelier and not like a small lamp. When the blades are retracted the chandelier is 16 inches in diameter and when the fan blades are extended the overall diameter is 36 inches. (I realize I could have ordered a larger size, but for reference, the chandelier in my master bedroom looks like a small light fixture) 5- Installation requires a lot of patience! I ordered 3 of these fandeliers and it took a few days to hang all 3 as my US mounting bracket was smaller than the new mounting bracket and required holes to be drilled and a new bracket installed. Directions are useless so I would suggest YouTube.6 - Remote LOUD!. It beeps high every time you change functions. So I decided on a lighting option and a fan speed and used a wall switch to control both the fan and the light. If you want to change settings, you must use the remote control. 7. The fan only works in one direction, there is no function to rotate the blades in the opposite direction or in the opposite direction. 8. The only part of the fan that is actually made of crystal. / Glass are hanging balls, everything else is plastic 9- There were rust spots on the chandelier and some crystals have broken off and become cloudy. I have attached photos for reference. 10- Upon arrival, all three fans were absolutely filthy! I had to soak the entire surface of the chandelier in soap and hot water to wash off any fingerprints and smudges that were also on the crystal balls. Warning if you try to dry it very well. 11- All 3 fan speeds make noise because the crystals are moving but not hitting each other.
