My Xterra 08 started having problems with the air conditioning. The air conditioner periodically turned on and off at high fan settings (2, 3 and MAX). Then the air conditioning light and the compressor only work at low speed (1), but no air comes out of the vents. After a quick google/youtube search I bought this part. Installation was fairly easy except the two screws holding the part are not the right size. They should be 6mm, but the quality of the heads makes them around 5.5mm. I ended up using a needle vise to remove and replace them. Apart from the screws, assembly took about 3 minutes. The air conditioning works like a champ in all settings. It is not known how long this part will take, but for now it works.
