The end of the plug does not match the factory socket on my vehicle. I hooked up a couple of rental trailers to my truck and they were all wired the same way and all previous headlights matched the same wiring. In the past, even using a 7 to 4 cable adapter has always worked. Brown = Park, incorrect connector position. was the wrong position was wrong on the connector white = ground was the right position was right on the connector I didn't check other colors because I hadn't adjusted the brakes yet.
