In general, it was quite easy to assemble. The kids love it because it looks like a train and they find it fun. I have twins 3 and 2 who use this and love that it keeps them separate so they can't tease each other in the van. Overall it's nice and fun to use, but we have a steep driveway and live on top of a hill. It is very difficult to pull down the slope due to inertia. It easily goes across or in a serpentine manner. I have to go back and hold it with both hands so I can safely walk down our street and hill. It's ok on flat ground, not so much on hills. Also, it is MUCH longer than a regular van. Probably twice as long. Because of this, it is difficult to negotiate sharp turns. Overall it's cute, but the design has flaws that make it difficult to drive. I wish I had bought a three car, but it's not so bad that we don't necessarily want one. We'll leave it for now, but I'd recommend thinking about something else if you have a lot of hills!
