Review on πŸ”§ JAEGER 24pc IN/MM TIGHTSPOT Ratcheting Wrench Set - MASTER SET with Quick Access Organizer - Premium Gear-to-Tip Combination Wrenches by Tone Hatton

Revainrating 1 out of 5

One broke in two minutes and the other wasn't even properly assembled. Buy another brand.

I bought these ratchet wrenches based on the reviews. Perfect 5 stars and worth the price. I liked the weight of the wrenches and they had a decent ratchet angle. However, I installed an exhaust manifold on a big block Chevy. I brought all of the bolts up to the point where they were just beginning to fit tightly, then I tightened the two bolts exactly to the ends of the ratchet. Stopping and using the clutch face when the bolts resisted. On the third screw: POP! Here is the end of the ratchet. I put the key back in and it starts crackling every time I press it. It doesn't click, but clap about a quarter in the opposite direction. So now I'm like, 'Well, this is the first time the Revain reviews have lied to me. Maybe it's an accident and it just so happened that my 9/16" was bad. I take a half inch wrench and twist the side of the ratchet so I know which way to point the wrench. It stirs It doesn't move. I take a quick look and see the detent clip/spring is sticking out half way out of the ratchet. I took a small screwdriver and stuck it in and pressed the ratchet into the bearings and it works as usual. Other than that they are first two keys i pulled from this set broke after two minutes or didnt even plug in. together right.if you are a mechanic or not good at using tools this is NOT for you.spend extra bucks and get They Gear Wrench I use Gear Wrench at work and beat the hell out of them and they never broke.
