You get what you pay for

Intended for: Occasional use Finish: The chrome on the 1/4" wrench I received was coming off due to imperfections in the surface of the wrench caused by the stamping process have arisen. It's relatively inexpensive. Lifetime Jaeger Warranty. A professional set will be 5-8 times more expensive. Quality and durability: MADE IN CHINA. wrench first. Not exactly a convincing statement about the quality of their ratchet. Designed for: Homeowners/Backyard Handymen. Nothing for the professional who…

Superb Wrench Set - Power & Hand Tools

They were a little pricey for some other manufacturers ratchet wrench sets. but compared to the bigger brands they are half the price so I shouldn't complain. Overall they appear to be very well made and the ratchet function seems much more reliable than my last Craftsman set. I couldn't measure the torque I applied to the wrenches, but it was probably more than calculated (laughs). but the tools got the job done with ease. I am very excited to test these keys and let everyone know how long…

The right tool for the right job

When I first heard about ratchet wrenches I always thought it was a good idea and that I should get one. I never did. I recently remembered them and checked out Revain, reading reviews and comparing prices. They looked like the best deal and I bought them. The timing couldn't have been better. The day after they arrived I had to fix the headlights on my trailer. I had three bolts that were in my pocket. I could only get at it with a flat wrench and was only able to turn the nut 1/4 turn. The…

IMHO, an excellent key for the money.

Item arrived as described. I ordered it for work. Sometimes it can be difficult to find a key provided by the company, so I bought one. I have a full set from another manufacturer at home, but I won't be taking it to work. So far the ratchet works perfectly. I didn't say it seriously, but I'm used to taking care of my instruments. The main shank of the key has a slight bend. This is not detrimental to the function of the key and I have seen the same with other brands. The price was exceptional…

Jaegar did it right

After my last recall/complaint, Jaegar Tools immediately replaced the defective tool as they have a lifetime guarantee. Thank you for supporting your product with genuine kindness and genuine interest. The representative also informed me that they have made changes to make it easier to contact me with further questions. Not bad, right? I must give credit where necessary and hope that this error was the anomaly and not the norm. So I'm giving them 3 stars now and see how the wrenches change over

Excellent value for money and quality.

This review was written after a little experience with wrenches but wanted to give it before I forgot. The keys are beautifully finished in polished chrome. The ratchet mechanisms work smoothly and, as far as I can tell (measure), engage in the advertised 5 degree increments. Sizing accuracy seems reasonable for both SAE and metric sizes (I bought both). I pulled a few available nuts and bolts from my collection to test and the SAE/metric sizes that should have noticeable differences (1/2 inch…

Failed gears are backed by excellent customer support and warranty.

GREAT CUSTOMER SUPPORT Just want to say I bought the standard and metric gear sets. I was as excited as a kid in a candy store the day they arrived, but I knew right away that my 1/4 and 13mm wrench had broken gears. I contacted the company following the instructions on the card that came with the wrenches. I emailed right away and I'm not kidding, but it didn't even take 5 minutes and they responded quickly. He immediately apologized and asked me to send 2 new keys to my address at the local…

I bought these ratchet wrenches based on the reviews. Perfect 5 stars and worth the price. I liked the weight of the wrenches and they had a decent ratchet angle. However, I installed an exhaust manifold on a big block Chevy. I brought all of the bolts up to the point where they were just beginning to fit tightly, then I tightened the two bolts exactly to the ends of the ratchet. Stopping and using the clutch face when the bolts resisted. On the third screw: POP! Here is the end of the ratchet.

Bottom line, it's PERFECT

As a 35 year old ASE Auto Technician/Master Mechanic, trust me. This is a steal for the price; but you all need to understand how to use your tools. This is a ratchet wrench with small gears. They don't take a lot of torque applied to them or your little gears inside them. They are designed to get the job done faster. If you have one or more stuck bolts or nuts, you must first loosen them using a regular wrench or socket on a ratchet. Then use these ratchet wrenches to get the job done quickly.
