Story time. My husband put the chopped red onion in Tupperware in the fridge. During the night, the onion smell somehow wormed its way into our food from the fridge (fruit, yogurt, everything) as well as food from the freezer and ice cream. EVERYTHING smelled and tasted like onions. We tried baking soda, sliced lemons, and everything smelled and smelled like lemon onions. We found it and decided to try it and IT WORKS like a charm!
