Great net, does exactly what you want in a golf net and at a very reasonable price. a tent pole with sharp ends at each end, so for outdoor use you just bend a pole at each end and stick it in the dirt. You can bend it more or less to make the trellis taller/narrower or lower/wider. For indoor use (carpet, concrete, etc) there's a modular metal base that the ends of the top bar tuck into - it works well, it's not strong. or thick metal, but that does the trick. So far (limited use) the net works with practice balls as well as real balls (including the driver) but you obviously need to set it up securely so that if the ball happens to go through it doesn't hit the woman or, even worse, the family dog . Just common sense. I use Calloway HX practice balls, which are heavy enough to feel good outside of the club but don't kill anyone. installed two 6" PVC pipes perpendicular to the walls on opposite sides of the deck to allow the top bar to be connected together and then easily removed and folded for storage. It only takes a few minutes to set up and unfold. Don't expect this thing to last 20 years but for the money it's fantastic. FOREGROUND!
