It's easy to fix a working remote just by damaging the case.
This case is a direct replacement for my old Toyota key fob outer case. The tab that attaches the keychain to the keychain is broken and cannot be repaired. Much cheaper and easier to just buy a new case. No need to reprogram or worry about new remote compatibility. Simply insert the old working casings into the new housing.
