I bought these socks to help with neuropathy in my feet. I wasn't sure about the split toes but I found I really like this style of socks. They fit well, feel nice, but I don't think they help neuropathy as well as gloves. This is because socks are not as tight as gloves and do not have the compression that gloves have. Update: I bought two pairs of these socks a year ago and both pairs had holes in the heels a year later. Since I don't wear them in the summer and only wear them the rest of the year I don't seem to get much use out of them. Updated February 24, 2018. Well I bought two more pairs two months ago and today as I was putting on a pair to go to bed I saw that one of them already had a hole in it! I love them but at $20 a pair I can't afford to change them every few months. Downgraded to 2 stars due to poor durability.
