At one time, they purchased it to replace the failed Pentax M10. That. all comparisons are relative to the above named camera. When choosing a camera, I read that no sound is played on this model when watching videos (by the way, the seller in the store said the same thing), but this is not so. Of the shortcomings, the long charging of the flash is the most annoying (especially critical when photographing children - while it is charging, you have time to miss not a single good frame). At the expense of the lack of zoom during video shooting - for me this is not even a disadvantage, but my wife does not like it (but this is due to the fact that Pentax had such an opportunity). And so a great camera for your money for home use. Although, I think now it is not a problem to find something more modern in the same price range, but it does not mean that it is better.
