Great lifting power.

I was concerned that this pump might not have the performance I needed. Your characteristics are vague. My situation is that our house and lawn are 150 feet from us and 40 feet above the lake level. So it requires 40 feet of vertical buoyancy from the lake shore and about 150 feet of garden hose. I ran a 75 inch extension from the back of the house to the lake and installed the water pump by connecting three 5/8 inch garden hoses to get 150 feet. Also 5/8" 15' garden suction hose with small foot valve. (NOTE: To change from a 1" pump fitting to a garden hose, separate adapters are required. Also, an adapter to add a small foot valve to the end of the garden hose.) After I primed the pump and turned it on I ran to the lawns to see if the quad sprinkler was spraying up.. He had a weak 10" spray! I was speechless. Sprinklers barely moved. He ran down and parked took the pump off. checked the garden hose for kinks; nobody. I thought maybe the pump was weak. Then check the sprinkler inlet and there was a net/washer on it that the hose screwed onto. AND IT WAS CLOSED. Strainer pulled out, hose reconnected, down to the lake, turned on again, ran back up and the sprinkler squirted all over the roof!A bunch of cum My water source is only 18" below the pump so pull I have no water from a deep well; but the discharge still has a long way to go pushing a lot of water up the hill and it works fine for one sprinkler but will probably handle a few others. I've only been using it for a few days so can't speak to durability, but it has the grunt I need, plus it's quiet and comes with a pressure gauge, which surprised me.
