I have Severe Rheumatoid Arthritis (as well as other crippling Arthritis) , while I do have power steering in my K-2500, w/4 X 4, combined w/ a 5 speed manual transmission , it's way to hard on my crippled hands to try to shift while turning my large truck- I tried a cheaper "suicide steering knob", but the thing had so much slack and play (not to say the unit was thin plastic) After looking at the MANY different types, brands and materials used in the production , I found 3 I liked the reviews (Thanks VERY MUCH to all who take the time to write these reviews- I go by them most, for decisions) the one I liked the best was $100.00+ and made from Stainless, being disabled, my disability check wouldn't allow such a cost, this one from "Fouring BL Platinum Power Handle Car or Boat- Pick-ups Too" seemed that it was built very good, I was correct in my assumption- it's TOP NOTCH, with-out a doubt, if you need or want a very good (high grade materials and craftsmanship) it is very close tolerance in the assembly, looks good as well- easy to install, the old one, will be rebuilt with some good hard Maple and a tight spring- Thanks ebay for a Quality made part that helps us who struggle with disabilities, and selling it at a good cost - I do recommend this (along with the "Hurst" "T" shift handle)
