When the unit arrived I was disappointed to find that the lid was only secured with a seat belt. Then I noticed that there is no indication on the battery box as to where exactly the guides should be installed and it is physically impossible to install the guides as follows from the image in the instructions without significant modifications to the box. In addition, the supplied countersunk screws are so long that when the strap guides are attached to the outside of the box, the tip of the attachment screw protrudes more than 1/4 inch into the battery compartment, a potential source of battery damage. I ended up completely redoing the belt guides and attaching them low to the sides with machine screws that are secured inside the box with flat acorn nuts to protect the contents from damage.
