**Update** returned item and purchased a Scan Disk brand from Best Buy and it worked right after I formatted it in the dashcam. Half the price and worked right out of the box. I did read on the S1 product page that the Vantrue Seller recommended a Samsung EVO Micro SD Memory Card for its dashcam. I can’t comment on that since I got a different brand and it worked out perfectly with no issues.***1/11/23 I purchased a Vantrue S1 dashcam and had it installed then bought the Vantrue 512gb micro sd. Quite expensive $84. Followed the instruction to the T and also the instructions given on the FAQ section of this product from the Vantrue Seller and it would not format. Still received an error to please format sd card. At this point I’m just a little irritated that I need to buy an SD card reader for my computer to format the card. I’ll try my luck with another brand and return this. I just wish it would work right out of the box.
